Not just a beating of the loins but a beating of the heart. Will they get together? What will they do about his marriage to the queen? A guillotine looms onstage as two clowns venture through this musical 18th Century World. Whose head will roll?

But when his rival, Thomas Tabloid stops by with a strange gift, everything is turned upside down and John tumbles into a strange dreamworld.
