Athena Reddy

Athena has been featured on sketch comedy on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, written, directed and starred in sketch comedy screened at Channel 101 in Los Angeles and starred in We Do This Once, a thriller that premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. They also sing, play guitar and write music. They won the 2023 Channy Award for Best Performer in the Tiffany Toolbox Show (which they also wrote and directed.)

Music, Modeling

Most of Athena’s younger years were spent with an acoustic guitar in NYC and traveling up and down the East Coast playing indie music. They also worked as a model and walked runways in NY and London.

Athena holds an M.A. in acting from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where they focused a lot on movement, embodied voice, classical text and stage combat. They love the U.K. and lived there on and off for a while. They love old buildings and tea.

Teaching

Athena is also a teaching artist, using their education and training to help other actors to embody text on screen and on stage. Athena is an experienced consulting astrologer with a loyal clientele. They run a podcast called Star Eater Astrology and write astrology articles. They are a 200 hr Registered Yoga teacher and often teach movement meditation classes alongside astrology.
