ATHENA REDDY (John Newspaper)

Athena Reddy (they/them) is a New York-born, UK-trained, LA-based actor, director, writer, and musician with an MA in Acting from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Their screen work includes a sketch on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, a role in Diplo’s Earthquake music video, starring in We Do This Once (Tribeca Film Festival), and appearing in Gutboy: A Bad Time Story (Troma), where they voiced a singing puppet and performed in a surreal wrestling sequence.

In LA’s alt clown scene, they’ve developed characters like John Newspaper, Loves Seafood, and Prince Veridian, Sword of the Dawn. Athena’s original short-form work includes the horror sci-fi short Chimera Therapy, the occult comedy webseries Casual Hex, and mini TV shows Tiffany Toolbox, Peps!, and My Roommate is the Pope of Cyberspace—all of which have often screened at Channel 101. Tiffany Toolbox, which they wrote, directed, scored, and starred in, won them the Best Lead Performer Channy Award.

Their audio work includes the body horror podcast Corpus Vile and original stories like The Mystery of the Tweed Club, Blood Soaked Iron Skeletons, Lazer B: Robot Hunter, and This Sticky Little Guy.

A classically trained stage actor with a strong background in physical theatre, Athena’s stage work includes Bride of Frankenstein, an experiment in intimacy (Venus-Adonis Theatre Festival, NYC; Best Actress nomination), Unsweet Perdition (2025 Hollywood Fringe), Frankenstein (Bristol Festival of Ideas), Twelfth Night (LI Shakespeare Festival), and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Playhouse on Park). They are a two-time ACTF nominee for performances in The Imaginary Invalid and Proof.

Athena started as a model, walking runways in NY and London, and was also part of the nerd rock group Carpe Geekdom, touring the East Coast with their guitar.

JULIA ROSE (Edith Newspaper)

Julia Rose (she/him/they) is so excited to join this cast and play in the beautiful world Athena has created. Julia is a haunted house maker, performance artist, and clown residing in Los Angeles, and originally from San Francisco, Ca. She is a trained actor and has a philosophy degree with a minor in dance from UC Berkeley and Free University Berlin. He is a proud member of the clown groups Third Nipple, Knuckle Sandwich, and Oscar&Julia. Catch their big haunted house "Clown Haunt" back at The Elysian in October!

JONATHAN BLAKE (Hugh Storian)

Jonathan Blake, they/them, is a writer, cartoonist, clown, and likes to think of themselves as neurodelightful. They would love for you to remember You Are Enough and they hope you enjoy the show!

LA native, Danelle (she/they) has long been drawn to theater, dance and performance art. A passion and drive to connect people to the human experience through work she’s involved in is ever evolving as they continue to expand their craft as a storyteller.

DOMINIC CICCODICOLA (Nathaniel Farnsworth III)

Long time performer, Dominic Ciccodiocola (he/they) is a writer, director, producer, member of the Highland Park Clowns, City of Detroit native, Italian citizen, and curios Californian. Loves people, food, walks, long pause times, karaoke, and all of the seasons - though fall might/is be the best.

FRANK REED (Eric Encarta)

The self anointed Andy Kaufman of clown, Frank Reed (he/him) is the most booed clown in the Los Angeles scene. His bits confront the audience directly and blur the lines between performance and reality. In addition to his regular performances across Los Angeles Frank can be seen on the cover of standup comic Eddie Peppitone’s For the Masses which can be seen on real life clown Jeff Bezos’ Amazon Prime.
